Steward Bank

• Contracted by Steward Bank to automate bank processes, reconciliation systems, SMS and email alerts, accounting opening process, online and mobile banking solutions, implement innovative processes and come up with plans that the bank approved

Health Informatics Technology Research Advancement Center (University of Zimbabwe, Community Medicine)

• Led a result oriented team of 12 developers in a number of Zimbabwe Human Resources Information Systems projects developing and implementing distributed HR systems for the Ministry of Health and Child Care, a highly configurable and adaptable registration and licensing application for health regulatory bodies such as NCZ, MDPCZ and HPA. The project was being funded by Center of Disease Control, USA, PEPFAR
• Commenced a vital project named Java API for Care Services Directory (jaxcsd) which is now part of the global OpenHIE community
• Participated in the OpenHIE community weekly meetings to share ideas with other OpenHIE and CSD implementors and vendors, and to ensure that Zimbabwe provider registry met international standards
• Led the design and implementation of a distributed system that recorded HIV/AIDS, Malaria and TB surveillance indicators for SADC
• Attended a Collaborative Requirements Development Methodology Training(CRDM) in USA for Tanzania Ministry of Health system implementations

RubieM Technologies

• Developed a secure, scalable, highly transactional, and effective ATM and Credit Card airtime recharge server for Malawi Access Communications Limited and NBS Bank
• Developed a flexible and inter-operable online credit vetting system for Transunion Zimbabwe
• Developed a customer self service web portal for Africom. Backend systems integrated with this portal involve Huawei Online Charging System and AAA systems among others
• Developed a scalable, multi-threaded, and maintainable customer self service web portal for Access Communications Limited (Malawi)
• Customized the open source SIP Communicator for Africom. Traveled to Hong Kong and China to optimize and embed SIP Communicator in dongles and mobile modems as per manufacturers’ specifications
• Developed an intelligent call data record computation tool for reporting and reconciliation purposes with a number of systems for Africom and Malawi Access Communications Limited

Transaction Payment Solutions (Econet Subsidiary)

• Designed and developed a robust, transactional, secure, and multi threaded electronic voucher management application
• Developed a multi-mobile network operator file formatter for electronic voucher host system
• Developed and extended ATM systems and applications as well as Point of Sale modules running on Ingenico and Verifone terminals
• Developed and customized Postilion sink and source nodes for various banks, retail, and insurance firms

Afrosoft Corporation

• Took over the leadership in propelling forward development and implementation of a short loans system for SEDCO. Introduced effective and efficient algorithms that permanently tackled complex transaction reversal problems. Promoted to senior software developer due to this tremendous achievement
• Participated in the development, integration testing, and UAT of a pension fund management system for CIPF
• Developed and implemented flexible and robust reports for SEDCO short loans system
• Mentored junior and student developers by providing technical guidance, motivation and enabling team environment

University of Zimbabwe and StarAfrica Corporation

• Developed and maintained a highly transactional, voluminous, tightly secured and effective education system-BrainBoss for Management Development Unit-MDU (University of Zimbabwe)
• Also worked for StarAfrica Corporation as a student on attachment doing challenging systems administration tasks, SAGE Line 500 support and maintenance, operating systems and applications support, networking, and hardware maintenance
